Returns and Refund Policy

We want every order from Titan Forge Compounds to arrive correctly and in satisfactory condition. This policy explains our additional 30-day returns offer and any statutory rights that apply to your purchase. Nothing in this policy limits or excludes rights that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.

Our additional 30-day returns offer

You may request the return of an eligible purchase within 30 days of receiving your order. Once you have notified us, you have a further 30 days to send the eligible goods back.

For this voluntary change-of-mind offer, goods must be unused, unopened where supplied sealed, in the condition in which you received them and in their original packaging. We may ask for proof of purchase, such as an order confirmation or other evidence that the goods were bought from us.

These conditions apply to our additional voluntary offer. They do not remove or restrict any statutory cancellation right or any right to a remedy for faulty, damaged, incorrect or misdescribed goods. Your rights are not automatically lost merely because goods have been opened or their original packaging is unavailable.

Our additional offer is separate from, and does not shorten, any applicable statutory rights. Where a return is eligible for the longer notification or return period under this offer, you may use that longer period.

Consumer cancellation rights

If you buy as a consumer and a statutory right to cancel applies, you may cancel an online goods order without giving a reason, including before delivery and normally until 14 days after the day you receive the goods. Special rules can apply to orders delivered in separate consignments, and the cancellation period may be extended where the legally required cancellation information has not been supplied.

You can cancel by sending us a clear statement of your decision, for example by emailing titanforgecompounds@outlook.com. Please include your name and order number if available so that we can identify the purchase. You do not need our approval to exercise a valid statutory cancellation right.

If relying solely on the statutory cancellation right, send the goods back without undue delay and normally no later than 14 days after telling us you are cancelling, unless we have offered to collect them. Our longer 30-day return period remains available where your return qualifies under our additional offer.

A consumer is an individual buying wholly or mainly outside their trade, business, craft or profession. Statutory consumer rights depend on the circumstances of the purchase; describing a product as research-use-only does not itself remove rights that apply by law.

Exceptions to change-of-mind returns

Our additional voluntary offer does not cover goods that fail its unused, unopened and original-condition requirements. A statutory cancellation right may also be unavailable where a specific legal exception actually applies, for example goods liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly, or sealed goods that are unsuitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons once unsealed after delivery.

We do not treat every research compound as automatically exempt from statutory cancellation rights. Any legal exception must apply to the particular goods and circumstances. Change-of-mind exceptions do not remove rights concerning goods that were faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described when supplied.

Damaged, faulty, incorrect or misdescribed goods

Please inspect your order when it arrives and contact us as soon as reasonably possible if there is a problem. Explain the issue and include your order number and photographs if reasonably available. Prompt contact helps us investigate, but it is not a condition that overrides your statutory rights.

If you are a consumer, applicable law may entitle you to reject goods for a refund or receive another remedy. A short-term right to reject faulty goods normally applies for 30 days, subject to the applicable rules; rights to a repair, replacement, price reduction or refund may continue afterwards. The expiry of our voluntary return window does not end those rights.

You do not have to keep faulty goods unopened, unused or in their original packaging to have a valid statutory claim. We will bear reasonable return costs where required by law. Contact us before arranging a return so that we can agree appropriate return or collection arrangements.

How to return an item and return costs

Email titanforgecompounds@outlook.com before sending goods back. We will provide the appropriate return instructions and return address. This request helps us handle the return and does not make a valid statutory cancellation dependent on our permission.

For a change-of-mind return, you pay the direct return cost unless we have agreed otherwise or the law requires us to pay it. Where consumer cancellation law applies, you are only responsible for that cost if the required information was provided before the contract. We will cover reasonable return costs for valid faulty, damaged, incorrect or misdescribed goods claims where required by law.

Please keep proof of posting. Research materials must be packaged and transported safely in accordance with any applicable carrier requirements. Tell us if an item is leaking, damaged or otherwise unsafe to send so that suitable arrangements can be made.

Refund methods and deadlines

Refunds will normally use the original payment method. For statutory refunds, we will use the same payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise, and we will not charge a refund fee. Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to display a refund after we issue it.

Statutory consumer cancellations: We will reimburse you without undue delay and no later than 14 days after receiving the goods back or receiving evidence that you sent them back, whichever happens first. If we have offered to collect the goods, or no goods need to be returned, the applicable deadline is normally 14 days after you notify us of cancellation.
Statutory rejection of faulty goods: Where you are entitled to a refund under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, we will refund you without undue delay and within 14 days of agreeing that you are entitled to it.
Eligible returns under our additional 30-day offer: We will check the returned goods and issue the refund within 14 days of receiving them. If we consider the voluntary-return conditions have not been met, we will explain why within that period; any applicable statutory rights remain unaffected.

Inspection or internal approval will not be used to extend a statutory refund deadline. For a statutory cancellation, a deduction for diminished value may be made only where permitted by law, including the rules about handling beyond what is necessary to establish the goods' nature, characteristics and functioning and the cancellation information we must provide. A blanket unopened-or-unused requirement does not replace those rules.

Original delivery charges

Where you validly cancel the whole order under statutory consumer cancellation rights, we will refund the original delivery charge up to the cost of the least expensive standard delivery option we offered. If you chose a more expensive option, we do not have to refund the additional amount paid for that upgrade.

For partial returns, voluntary returns and faulty-goods claims, we will refund any delivery charges required by law. We will not deduct a delivery charge that you did not originally pay from a statutory refund.

Exchanges

We do not offer a separate voluntary direct-exchange service. For an eligible change-of-mind return, you can return the item and place a separate order for the replacement you want. This does not remove any statutory right to a replacement for faulty or misdescribed goods.
